Dellogator

Dellogator GCS

A ground control station for Android tablets (working title Meridian). It's built first for fixed-wing and flying-wing INAV pilots on ELRS.

In development. There's no public build yet. These notes describe the current state of the project, including work that still needs confirmation on real hardware.

Where it's at

  • Done: telemetry over CRSF (ELRS / Crossfire), MSP v1/v2 (including MSP over CRSF) and MAVLink v1/v2. Connection software talks over UDP and TCP.
  • Done: a wing dashboard (airspeed vs ground speed, wind, glide and energy) with Day, Night and NVG themes.
  • Done: simulator testing against INAV 10 and ArduPlane, including mission upload and download.
  • Safety: the app never sends arm or flight-mode commands. Arming stays disabled.
  • First hardware test (5 Nov 2026): DJI Goggles N3 video and the ELRS backpack link didn't work on the tablet yet.
  • Newer test builds add maps, a video-first layout, and fixes for N3 video and the backpack link. Those still need confirmation on real hardware before they're treated as working.

In test builds (awaiting hardware confirmation)

  • DJI Goggles N3 video on the tablet
  • ELRS Wi-Fi backpack telemetry link
  • A video-first main screen with a few large readings
  • An OpenStreetMap moving map (no map subscription), with map and video swap

Requirements (current target)

  • An Android tablet on Android 9 or newer. It's built for Android 16 tablets such as the RadioMaster AX12.
